A 2012 film featuring Kathrine Heigl as Stephanie Plum a newly divorced unemployed New Jersey girl. While looking for work she lands a job in her cousin's bail bond business and attempts to hook a big catch for a profit of 50k. Her big fish turns out to be an ex-boyfriend who she had willingly gave her virginity to only for him to never call again. The battle to earn a quick buck quickly turns into a mystery as she begins to uncover the truth about her ex-boyfriend's involvement with a missing informant and some local drug dealers.
This film wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I adore Kathrine Heigl as she usually is a well wounded actress who acts from a mom to a doctor. Typically Kathrine Heigl's acting all looks the same to me but the refreshing part about this film is she uses an accent of a native New Jersey girl. Still, the film was too predictable and bland. I give this film three stars because of the quality and the unique plot.
